Questions about 2 BR amenities

We are staying in a 2 BR in Kidani in 9 days! It's our first stay since becoming DVC members. Do the bathrooms have hairdryers? Does the coffee maker need filters? Do I buy regular ground coffee for it? Does it come with the soap for the washing machine and dishwasher? Thanks so much! We are so excited!

Yes, you will need to provide filters for the coffee maker and it takes regular ground coffee - it isn't a pod-type machine.

Yes, dishwashing soap for the dishwasher is provided. 1 box of laundry detergent is provided, and I think they give you another one on your trash & towel day and your full cleaning day.

I am pretty sure each bathroom has a hair dryer.

The laundry detergent is single use, so you will probably need more. We buy it off site or have it delivered if we have a grocery delivery. You can get more dishwasher soap for free, but not the laundry detergent except as noted.

The hair dryers are pretty much worthless unless you have a crew cut or very short, fine hair. If you have any length or thickness to your hair, bring your own from home.

When you arrive and every fourth day thereafter, you will get additional supplies. That includes one, maybe two filtered pouches of coffee (and it's not that good if you are a coffee freak). You'll need to bring your own filters (basket type) and coffee. Or bring the prefiltered pouches like Maxwell House has.

You'll get a single use box of Tide regular every four days. So if you wash more than one load, you'll need to bring more, or buy more. Also, if you use fabric softener, you'll need that.

They provide paper towels, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner (one small bottle per bathing location - shower, tub, shower/tub combo). You'll need sugar, salt, pepper.

Thank you for all the quick replies. I think I'll bring our own hairdryer and I'll go buy the coffee filters. I already ordered Starbuck's ground coffee from Garden Grocer. One more week for us!
