Questioning a Fast Pass Rumor

My DH has a work friend that stated that the Fast Pass is ending and they are going to a purchase a fast pass system. She said her friend was just there and they no longer had them available free, only for purchase.

I tend to doubt this because I do not find anything on DIS about it. Please let me know if you just recently returned or are currently there and what if any changes you have seen to the fast pass system

Maybe they were thinking Universal.

We just came back the 6th and the fast pass was still the same. I haven't heard of anything different going to happen.
