Questionable Snacks.

They kinda have that though, just no marshmallows:

The cereal bits are essentially the same.
Chocolate is common to other cereals too, like Cocoa Pebbles. Nay, these Chocalate Cheerios would not be like Count Chocula without the marshmallows.

I think even Magic Spoon sells a chocolate flavor- but I don't know how well it tastes, because I refuse to pay $10 for a box of cereal.

Ultraprocessed food processed to taste like other ultraprocessed food. Truly a dietician’s nightmare.
I think a dietician's nightmare would be failing to live up to their parents' expectations, and realizing that it might be too late to do something more personally fulfilling, instead of the path that their parents, or worse, Steve, wanted them to take. But you think their worst nightmare is chips, ok, fair enough.

Lol but I’m with the OP! Why no just get funyuns then?
Funyuns contain dairy but the chips do not so for some, like me, the chips are an alternative to the Funyuns they can’t eat. I had them once earlier this summer and thought they were good. It’s been many, many years since I’ve tasted a Funyun!

Here's one. Would the potential for death make it questionable? It was a single tortilla chip seasoned with a combination of Carolina Reaper and Naga Viper chili peppers.

The product's label warned that children, pregnant people, those with underlying health issues, people sensitive to spicy foods and people who are allergic to peppers, nightshades or capsaicin (the component of chili peppers that makes them spicy) should avoid the chip. People should seek medical assistance if they experience difficulty breathing, fainting or extended nausea after having eaten the chip, the warning said.

I posted about this yesterday, there was a kid here in Massachusetts who died after eating one of those.

It was bound to happen. I have actually eaten one of those chips. It was a gathering of friends, and someone had acquired two. Yes, I'm an idiot. I couldn't imagine it could be THAT hot - and actually, it's not. I mean, it's spicy for sure, but it's tolerable. It's what happens after. About 20 or so minutes go by and it's turning my stomach inside-out. It got absolutely disturbingly bad - my belly was like quivering. My body rejected it as if it was poison - it basically is! I thought I might pass out - but I didn't. It was ugly though. I know some people have called ambulances after trying it - I always figured that was just exaggerated for the Internet. The thing is serious and I have felt ever since that it should not be sold. It is not food! I am sorry someone succumbed to it - how terrible.

It's seasoned with peppers, but I've actually bitten into raw habaneros and once I ate a quarter of a naga jolokia. I didn't really have that much issue with my stomach other than discomfort on the way out (I will say no further) but my mouth was in massive pain for about an hour even with cold water and milk.

I guess if anyone really wants to feel like that, they can get a can of bear spray and shoot it into their mouth like whipped cream out of a can.

Yeah, I had no trouble once it was all purged out - it all came out the way it went in!

Because the Funyuns-flavored chips are potato AND onion, rather than just onion. They are similar to the UK/Ireland Cheese and Onion crisps, which are SO good. (We seriously need a good cheese and onion potato chip in this country that isn't a temporary gimmick.)

I like Funyuns, but they are annoyingly prone to sticking in one's teeth, which the potato chips didn't, so that's another plus.

FWIW, I suspect that what Lays is up to here is a search for new chip flavors that may really take off. They've done this to test flavors from other countries, too; the brand is known as Walker's in the UK, and they also have some interesting flavors.

BTW, a tip about mouth burn from hot pepper things (not for LSUMiss, I know she knows this already, LOL.) The heat comes from the pepper's oil, so you need something that will absorb oil to properly get rid of it. Milk or water isn't nearly as effective for that as eating soft bread or plain cooked rice, which you want to chew very thoroughly to get it to find and absorb all the pepper oils in your mouth. (BTW, if you get pepper oil on your hands and need to remove it, washing with soap/water alone is not usually very effective. Again, binding the oil is most important, so thoroughly rubbing your hands with a generous dollop of hand lotion before washing with soap will be much more effective at removing it.)

PS: I think that Fruity Pebbles syrup is more popular on desserts than it is on breakfast items.

For me it took the normal route out. Which got rather interesting.

Properly visualized, successful imagery.

I am ashamed to say have I both purchased AND tasted the Pickle flavored cotton candy at the Picklesburgh (a pickle festival in Pittsburgh.) It is most definitely as disgusting as one would imagine. I also tried a pickle margarita and pickle ice cream. Nope and nope. I’m just going to stick with pickle flavored pickles from now on.
