Questionable Snacks.

But you could have Cool Ranch Doritos! These are potato chips cosplaying as Doritos. It's dirty pool!
True, but I don't like Doritos because they are way too hard and crunchy for me. I like lays because they are softer. Whenever I see these in the store I grab a few bags because they are limited release.

I know, we are at teh point where they are making potato chips that taste like other kinds of chips - we've really come full circle on this! Don't even get me started on cereal!

I mean, I love some sugar cereals, but it's basically just candy now! 🤣
Ok this is different. Lays and Doritos are on the same aisle. Cereals flavored like Kit Kats, Swiss Rolls, and (why? why?) Icees, are at least broad strokes apart on the food spectrum.

Now Cheerios flavored like Count Chocula would be like Lays pretending to be Doritos. Sacrilegious!

Ok, Anniemae, I will give you a pass!

They kinda have that though, just no marshmallows:

The cereal bits are essentially the same.

One of the grossest snacks I've ever had is the popcorn flavored jelly beans from Jelly Belly. The bean boozled challenge is next level disgusting.

I just saw Reese Cups with mini-bits of Reece's puffs inside them, sounds yummier than chips.
Ah, popcorn flavored Jelly Bellies. Their best selling flavor next to Very Cherry. How does it feel to be a jelly bean outcast? :)

I never understood why any of these flavors are for a 'limited time only'. If it is popular seems they would want to keep making them. Do they think you are more likely to buy something if only available in 'limited' quantities?

Safe to assume that if any of the 'limited' flavors become a big enough hit, they would be added to their regular lineup.

Who doesn't look at that and think "Finally, something that can help lower cholesterol" :rotfl2:

Have you seen/tried the SweetTarts & Swedish Fish jelly beans?
The SweetTarts ones are shockingly dead on in the best way.
The Swedish Fish ones try but don't quite hit it, and just make me want real Swedish Fush.

Now I want candy. Thanks guys.

Ultraprocessed food processed to taste like other ultraprocessed food. Truly a dietician’s nightmare.
