Ok, I have a couple questions. My family and I are trying to plan a budget trip. I have done this in the past. We stayed on Daytona Beach. We went to The Magic Kingdom one day, and Sea World for one day. We would like to go back to Magic Kingdom for a day, and Universal Studios for one day. We have never been to Universal Studios. I have several questions about it. Do they allow you to bring in your own food, like Walt Disney does? Is it cheaper to purchase tickets online, or they same price at the gate? When we went to Disney, we bought them at the gate. When I looked online, it looks like Universal Studios is two parks. We just want to go to one. With that being said, we don't know which one would best suit our needs. We have mom, dad, 3 girls ages 15, 14, and 10. We need a park that we will be able to spent the whole day in. If the park does not allow food and drinks, is the food high in the parks? What are the choices? Are there any special shows in the park. :)

When are you going? The new Diagon Alley at Universal will open this summer and will add a lot of new stuff.

You can bring in the same stuff as at Disney for food. No glass containers. No big coolers.
