My sister has a question i couldn't answer because I am not that familiar with the dining plan. If she books free dining for her family ( herself, her hubby, her daughter 10 and son 12) she gets the dining plan for four adults? I believe at 10 Disney considers people adults, but not sure. If so, if one of the kids wanted to order off the kids menu even though they had the adult dining plan could they?

WDW has two categories for the dining plan: ages 3-9, and ages 10 and up. Anyone 10 and up would get those credits.

In many restaurants you CAN use an adult credit for a child's meal, but you could also pay out of pocket for the child's meal and use the adult credit later for a different meal.

We have also been able to order "kids" entries as an adult portion. They have brought out 2 pizzas and double to Chicken nuggets.

They great thing about disney is If you ask, they will try to accomidate.

That is a great idea. I will let her know. She has one kid that only eats chicken nuggets!
