Question: using WDW tickets at DL?

I'm sure this has been answered before but I'm looking and looking and can't find it!
Before our upcoming cruise we're going to DL for the first time. Can you use leftover days on your WDW park hopper tickets to go to DL or do you have to buy DL tickets?
If you CAN use them- if they are park hopper tickets can you hope from DL to DCA?

I called couple months ago & was told re leftover WDW tix being used @ DL

*as long as they are valid Park Hoppers (that had the non-expiry option on them) it is fine

*u need to go to the front gate each day u use & wait until they do call WDW system to remove the date from your existing tix...evidently, the computers don't "tallk"

we just decided to buy tix, didn't want to wait on line each am of our upcoming trip

I called on it too a month or two ago. They said the only ones that weren't good were the comp ones, which is what I had. Oh well.... Otherwise you are good to go!

I'm not sure how that would work trying to get in as early as possible and having to stand in line until they can call? I'm not even sure how the time zones work to which one is ahead of the other, if at all. I'm REALLY bad about time zones so don't laugh at me.

Hmmm... I was hoping to save some dough using some days left on our 10 day park hopper tickets but I don't know about the lines thing! I just read on another thread you can buy the tickets (only) from getawaytoday but I can't find it. All I see on that website is to book an entire vacation including the room!
