Question/thoughts on revisiting honeymoon, special occasions?

So my wife and I had our honeymoon at Disney back in 2000. We are going back in June 2015, with our three kids and my mother.

My mom said that she would watch the kids on a few nights, so we could go out and 'revisit' some of our honeymoon spots. Well, let's just say when we were newly married we were on a very tight budget. So we ate at places like Planet Hollywood, and other lower cost places.

Well, we scheduled a very late dinner at Planet Hollywood, as we have fond memories of eating there. I guess my question is with all the construction going on, should we just avoid it and go somewhere else?

I know the food is 'Meh', but it is more about revisiting one of the places from our honeymoon. But I think we could go to one of the others, IE - Sci Fi, Tony's, or others(although not too many others.).

So I guess if anyone has ever revisited their honeymoon, or other special occasion, at Disney what do you suggest?

We honeymooned there too. I dont know if I would bother "revisiting" your honeymoon spots but rather doing things you couldn't afford to do last time. Romantic dinners (like the cali grill), maybe a tour (we love them!). Carriage ride at Ft wilderness. that sort of thing.

If you do decide to go to Planet Hollywood make sure you check with them first, they are about to do a major renovation to it as part of the whole Disney Springs project. It is not to be complete until sometime in 2016. I am not sure if they will shut down at all due to construction or not. Hope this helps, have a great trip!

Since you have fond memories of eating there on your honeymoon, then I say go back! My husband and I also honeymooned in Disney. If you are looking for a new experience to try, we love eating at Cali Grill during the fireworks. Have a great time!
