Question Simply Changing Resorts

I know this should be elementary, but we never do this. We have reservations at our home resort for the spring of 2023, 4 nights.
We are inside our 7-month window for another resort we want to go to. Checked, there is availability. What I am not sure of is how to go about changing our reservation from resort to another. Should I cancel our current reservation then book the new one or should I call member services to make the change to make sure the 'right points' get used. We have some banked into next year.

Use the MODIFY feature. This allow you to select a new resort with out cancelling the first one, kind of does both in one shot.

If you want to change all days just modify. you should get the option to click on the other resort if all days are available. Good for you!

Not the OP, but I just wanted to verify that the modify feature is available right when 7 month window opens online. One MS rep told me I had to wait until MS opened to call in to modify.

For some reason, I've never been able to get the MODIFY feature to work correctly, so I end up using the old-fashioned method and resort to a phone call.
