Question regarding UY & Waitlist

First off I have a June UY. I'm going to WDW May7-12 and right now I have the 8th,9th and 11th and I'm wait listing for the 7th and 10th. Naturally I'm borrowing to fulfill this reservation which is fine. If I wanted to book SSR for the whole time hoping that my waitlist comes through would I need to borrow 5 nights of points at both resorts? You can see my dilemma here right? I'm beginning to assume I should abandon the waitlist and just book another resort before i get totally squeezed out.

With a trip that close, I would ditch the waitlist, but that is just me, don't like to not have every little detailed planned out WAY ahead of time.

If I called would they be able to tell me how close I am to getting my waitlist dates? I'm not an obsessive planner at all (I just booked my airfare Monday) but I don't want to switch resort twice. Alternatively I don't want to borrow more points than I need to because I know they can't be returned.
