Question regarding separate checks at Disney World Restaurants

Hello!

We are headed to Disney World in a couple of weeks. Made ADRs for a party of 8 which includes 3 separate families. We did not elect the dining plan on this trip. What has been your experience in asking for separate checks, is it OK or would they rather maintain a single check per table?

We met friends for meals several times in WDW. each time the server asked who was on what check. One family did DDP other did not. It was no problem at all!

They will split the checks no problem, just make sure you tell the server right away.

It is no problem! However keep in mind you will still have the automatic 18% gratuity added on to each bill.

HS Senior trip to WDW - they all had separate checks everywhere they ate
