Hello All! I didn't see this specific question answered on any of the FAQ's, so hope this isn't a repeat...

The PS window for the 60 days out opens up soon for our DL stay in October. At WDW since we were staying on property we were able to make PS for our entire trip as long as the 1st day of our stay was in the 60 window - does this work the same way at DL? If so it would be nice to make all PS at once instead of having to call back each day.

Thank you, in advance, if you can help

I don't think this is the case at DL. However if you are staying on site you can use vacation planning to book tours and PS for you. As I will be phoning from England for our trip I intend to make one phone call to vacation planning before the 60 day mark, tell them which PS I want to book, which tours I would like to book and then they will book them for you at the appropriate time. Then once all booked they will confirm your bookings with you.

I was going to suggest the same thing that Danauk did. Vacation planning can make PS arrangements for on-site guests, not just conceirge guests. But I actually don't know how soon ahead you can work with vacation planning since I've always opted to make my own arrangements.

Another consideration, you really don't have to make your PS arrangements exactly 60 days in advance. The only thing that books immediately is the Fantasmic seating, and that books 1 month in advance. The hottest PSs are for character dining and Blue Bayou (perhaps especially the 11:30 BB seating since that is the best way to get a good shot at a waterside table). I've been able to booked those well under 60 days in advance during much busier periods than October. If you wanted to be very cautious and don't use Vacation Planning (or for those who can't use Vacation planning because they are not staying on-site0, you could call 60 days in advance of your hottest reservation (say BB lunch if that is in your plans), and then again 60 days in advance of your last day.

Due to our plans changing, we had to book the princess lunch on Friday (7/27) before the Saturday meal. We had no problems getting the reservation for 1130, but there were no open tables at lunch either and it seemed to get more crowded throughout the day. I would recommend making them early, though, just to make sure, but don't stress too much about it.
