Here is the scenario:
2 AP rate rooms at POR
2 adults w/ AP
5 adults w/ 10 day hopper
1 child w/ 10 day hopper

I know DH and I can purchase the DDP seperatly since we have AP's. Can the rest of my family? Or could they only get it if they had MYW tix attached to the room res? Which is not possible to do and still keep the AP rate?

I have done so many calculations about this my head is going to explode!

Of course this is all void if they offer free dining on 11/3/12. Fingers crossed :confused3

Rooms booked with an AP (and with the AP holder present at check-in) will allow DDP to be purchased for everyone in the room regardless of what tickets (if ay) they have. Note that like MYW packages, this is a "package" booking that follows the 45-day prepayment rules, etc., and that all members in a room must either have the same dining plan or none at all.

You really can't purchase it "separately," it's still a package reservation, albeit a ticketless package. If you haven't added the dining yet, and you have a room only reservation, that reservation will be changed to a package. And yes, all you need at check-in is one adult AP and everyone on the reservation gets the plan. I even think it applies to multiple rooms (I think up to 3) booked by an annual passholder.
