Question regarding AP holder FP+ 7-day limitations

I see that the OP found a DVC studio, but just in case anybody else runs into this issue, I have an AP and a 9-day/8-nights stay at a DSprings hotel coming up, and I could only do 7 days of FP+. When I called GS, they said that the DSprings hotels do count as onsite for booking 60-day FP+ but do NOT count as onsite for AP override of the max of 7 days of FP+. I talked to 3 different GS cast members and got nowhere, although YMMV, of course. FWIW, the other 3 members of my party, who have regular 8-day tickets, were able to book FP+ for the entire stay at 60 days.

Disney has really messed with AP FP booking and it’s almost a hindrance to be an AP.
