Hello, I want to first apologize if this question has already been addressed in this forum. I searched, but could not find the answer. I fractured my ankle and can only walk short distances (which is a vast improvement over what I could do, though). I have a temporary handicap placard for the car for a few months. We have upcoming reservations for Boardwalk Villas. My understanding is I can valet park for free with the handicap placard, which I do appreciate. I am a DVC member and will be staying on DVC points. I would like to view the fireworks from the Bay Lake Tower lounge and get there with minimal walking. I know that generally you cannot just drive over there and park and then view the fireworks unless you are staying there or have a dining reservation.
Can anyone tell me if this prohibition applies to VALET parking at the Bay Lake Towers, too? If I already have a valet parking receipt (or whatever they give you when you valet park at Boardwalk), can I drive to Bay Lake to watch the fireworks if I valet park there? For that matter, if I find close parking at Boardwalk and decide not to valet park there, can I drive over to Bay Lake at night and valet park there (for the first time that day) to watch the fireworks at the Bay Lake lounge? If not, can I valet park at the Grand Floridian and take the monorail over? Hope this makes sense.
Thank you for any help.

Have you checked with the Transportation Board or maybe the Resort Board? It's more of an overall valet parking question instead of a specific disabled valet parking question.

You can park at any Disney resort for free with a placard and as long as you are valet parking you are fine just know that you have to alert at contemporary then walk over to bay lake tower. Disney charges 15 to valet park which is the same price as parking at the parks so they still making money and be fine with it. They decided not to charge for guest with handicap placards so they will treat it like a regular valet parked car and you can stay as long as you want.

OK, thank you.

I'm not sure if disney_david answered the question you were actually asking. Yes, you can use your placard for free valet parking at any resort.

We haven't, however, heard from anyone on whether they were allowed to use valet parking (with a placard) just to watch the fireworks from BLT and I haven't seen anything official from WDW stating that there's an exception. I would not expect having a handicapped placard or using valet to change their rules about parking to watch the fireworks, though. Those specifically state that parking is not available to DVC members who are only going to watch the fireworks from the BLT lounge. If you really want to be able to park, rather than use WDW transportation, I'd suggest looking to see if you can get an ADR that would allow you to park. Otherwise you can ask, but I'd be prepared to be told you can't park at CR/BLT.

Their a three hour limit and if your not at your ADR then your miss use the pass. Unless their printed rules stating Dvc memeber can't park at Blt just to watch the fireworks then they can't. If their no rules or policy's in place staying that a Dvc member can't valet park to see the fire works then they are okay. With valet parking it a brings Disney money so they don't care as much as self Parkin they could valet park their and leave it their all morning. Disney being nice by not charging for guest with placards that them being nice but hey still have to let them use it like they paid for if. The only time they will be turned away is if valet parking full or if it has parking restriction in place due to holiday or special event where they think valet parking will be filled for he resort guest.

The printed rules (as far as I've been able to find) don't specifically mention valet parking, but they do specifically mention DVC members not staying at Contemporary or BLT needing to take WDW transportation to get to BLT. To me that doesn't sound like it makes an exception for valet.

Yes that right if you want to self park they don't want you to you are allowed to valet park at any Disney resort for how every long you want well maybe not over night unless your staying their. Disney still get the money they would if you park at a theme park so their not losing anything. They choose to give free valet parking to guest with placards so they have to allow them the same right as a paying guest and let them park their as long as they want.

Yes their no place that say is and if you ask cms in parking or else where they will say you have to park at the theme park. They say that to get hours and to keep everyone going to cr to park. Unless the valet parking is full or close to it then they might limit non resort guest.

Also your be valet parking at contempory not Blt so to them your visiting the resort not Dvc. To can tell security you want to look at the shops and you want to valet park. After showing room key or id they will let you go if their full they say sorry valet parking is full I can give you a pass to park for three hours or they can turn them away. They won't go to Disney jail for using what they are allows to use any other time of the day.

I thought #1--only DVC members and they guests staying at BLT on points are allowed TOTW lounge to view the firewords and #2--there is no valet parking at BLT. You would need to valet park at CR and view the fireworks from there.

You can if you valet park.

Thank you for any help.

Your going to want to valet at board walk or get dropped off the walk from the parking lot is a hit away even with handicap parking.

Any DVC member staying on points at any resort can visit the TOTWL.
