Question re: timing the Jammin Jungle parade and dinner at Saana

We currently have 5:15 dinner reservations at Saana. But we have never seen the Jammin Jungle parade and I'd love to finally see it.

Will we be cutting it close to see the parade and make it to a 5:15 ADR? I was thinking we could watch near the tips board so we could scoot out right after.

I assume the bus ride is a short one. The next available dinner time isn't until 7:30 which would be late for DD5 who we like to have in bed by 8pm.

2- Once boarded and underway, the bus ride is actually about 2-5 minutes long.
It's the waiting for and boarding of the AKL bus that may take the most time.
(But, likely not enough to cause you any grief.)

Here's how to see the parade at DAK and make a quick exit.

Watch Jammin' Jungle Parade (or Jingle Jungle Parade during Christmastime) from near the area I marked as "Rope" on the maps below.
(Be sure that the bridge to the Oasis is accessible behind you.)
The front of the parade takes about 6 minutes to reach that spot after it begins near Pizzafari.

Watch the parade and wait to see Mickey Mouse's safari car. It is the last parade entry.
When you finally do see Mickey, high atop his safari vehicle's tower,
wave to him, turn around and make haste to the park exits.
You'll beat thousands of other guests who will be following along behind the parade.

We had a 5:15 Sanaa ADR last month and left AK after the Nemo show and had time to relax at AKL before dinner. Be sure to stay on the bus until it stops at Kidani as that is where Sanaa is located.

THANKS!!! Another reason I wanted the 5:15 is so there was still a little daylight to see the Savanna. I'm starting to think we should drive to save us even more time, and to assist in getting us home after dinner without having to take a bus to a park first.

We did drive as we were park hopping that day. If you drive, you would have time to stop by Jambo House and its viewing areas and then go on to Kidani.
