I have an 8-day dining plan, and I've already made ADRs for 8 TS restaurants. Now I'm planning a surprise night out for just the DW and me. She's been wanting to go to the Biergarten for a long time (her mother was German). Here's what I want to do:

We have a Tusker House character breakfast with the kids scheduled already, which looks to be the least expensive meal of the trip. So instead of paying OOP at Biergarten (if I can get ADRs), I'd rather use TS credits there, then split the AK breakfast and use TS credits for the kids and pay OOP for the adults.

Would that be a problem?

no, when you get to each restuarant, the CM will ask you if you are on the dining plan. If you want to pay OOP for the adults and dining plan for kids, just let them know that and you will be fine. They might have to do seperate checks. We are planning to do the say thing during free dining.

Nope, no probelm at all. Besides, if you order any adult type beverages at TS you will be getting a bill for that anyway. Definitely pick your cheapest meal and pya OOP for that one.

For the kids if you are doing any 2 TS meals, that would be a good one to pay OOP for. And it would give you 2 kids TS for each kid. If you have 2 kids you would only have to pay OOP for one. I know my DD9 didn't like the appetizer choice for kids and just wanted the pizza and plain vanilla ice cream for dessert. We saved her 2 TS for 2 other meals.
