We are a family of 5. My husband doesn't really like Disney and doesn't want to go to the parks anymore. We usually book a magical vacation with room/tickets. I am hoping our next stay is at YC and GF for 7 nights total. Can I just book the room and get only 4 of us tickets? My husband will stay at the resort and my children and I will go to the parks during the day and then we will have dinner together. We only stay at the parks for around 5 hours or so since we go every year. If I book a package with tickets for 4 of us, can my husband just sleep in the room at BC/GF? We don't need the Magical Express.

Yes, and you could get those tickets from a variety of places, including places like undercovertourist, parksavers, etc.

Yes, BUT you would need to add him at the front desk.

we go every year

Any chance your trips overlap to the point where an AP would work better than new tickets each year?

What is different about your question here and the one you asked earlier? They seem the same and I am missing the new info you need.
But, as the others have said, you should book a room only reservation and then add your DH at the front desk at check in. You can buy your tickets from any source. I suggest Undercover Tourist.

Since you don't need Magical Express, your best bet is to book room-only, list all 5 of you on the reservation and then buy the 4 tickets you need separately and link them to MDE. You can buy the tickets through Disney or, most likely, save a little money and buy them through a third-party discounter like Undercover Tourist. If you really want a "package", then, yes, you would need to list the 4 of you on the package (room and tickets) and then add your DH at check-in.

If you booked through a travel agency that deals in group/convention bookings, you can list all 5 on the room and purchase the 4 tickets through the agency as they would be able to get you the 4 tickets at convention pricing.
