Question re: portable DVD players

Thinking about getting the kids one so our traveling would be a lot quieter and more entertaining for them.Does anyone have one ?Which brand is the best for the best price?What features should I be looking for?Thanks in advance to any responses.

We bought an AudioVox this summer for just the same reason. We are driving down for the first time in Feb and our 2 1/2 yo DD is not big on long car trips. WE LOVE IT!! Since we have only one child, we take the monitor off the main unit and hang it with a special (included) harness right off the back of the driver's seat. The main unit sits between the front seats so we can change DVDs and control it. I found it many places for $399 but looked at Walmart and found it for $299 online. I think it is a bargin. It comes with absolutely everything you would want, it very compact and has a good picture and sound. Let me know if you need more info.
