I recently heard that the Disneyland Pirates Of The Caribbean ride is closed for renovations. Does anyone know what renovations are being done and if the same renovations will be done at Disneyworld?

Just bumping you back to page one so one of our experts can answer your question.

The POTC rehab at DL is finished and the ride has been open for about a month now. I think most of the work done was "behind the scenes" stuff. One thing I read about that was fixed was the lift at the end of the ride. Boats were stacking up waiting to be hauled up to the exit and apparently that was one of the things they were going to fix. I've also heard that they added more fog in some areas. I haven't heard anything about a rehab for the MK version. Right now DL is doing a lot of rehabs to get ready for the 50th. SpaceM is down until 2005, and Indy is supposed to go down for a couple of months starting around January 2004.

That I love this ride and has much as I love WDW the DL version of this ride is far better at DL.:earsboy:  :sunny: :earsgirl:
