question re MBs

I'm heading with my family to WDW during the last week of March, and am trying to figure out the new MBs and Fastpass+. How do you know when it is time to customize the MBs and add Fastpass selections? Is there a guideline like the 180 day ADR rule? If so, about how many days before our trip should I be working on this part of the planning?

I have read on these boards that some people have been able to customize their bands for spring trips now.

But you can only start booking FP 60 days before your trip (as of now) so there is really no point to customizing if you can't book FP.

Keep checking your MDE profile periodically though because things change quickly.

I was able to customize the MB already, even though I'm not travelling until Aug; You do have to customize before 30 days prior to trip. They will however, be shipped to the resort for you. Disneylover99 is right about the FP+ though about 60 days.
