Question re FPs and groups

We arrive 3 days before the rest of our group. We are staying on site 10 days and they are staying for 7 days. I know my Fastpass booking window opens 3 days prior to the groups. Am I able to book fast passes for the entire group? Like if I wanted to book a FastPass for 8 on the last day of our trip is that allowed? Or because we arrived three days prior to them and are window opens three days prior to them, can I only book fast passes for my own room?

Sorry I find the fast pass thing confusing. We would like to have some rides together. The rest of my group seems to be a little reservation challenged and I feel all of the "burden" of planning falls on me. Not fun!

My understanding is that if the rooms are under separate My Disney Experience accounts, you should be able to go under the "my family and friends" tab and link the account that the rest of the group is on to your account, and you should have a way to sync your entire groups fast passes together.

Yes, as long as you're linked as friends and family on MDE
