We are flying to WDW in 19 days :cool1: We will have 3 checked bags and I plan on bringing one carry on (normal carry on size rolling luggage) packed with any essentials we may need before we get our luggage (we are taking DME). I also wanted to pack some snacks in there for when we are at Disney. I have read the TSA website over and over but I just wanted some assurance that this would not be an issue. We are on the DDP so I am not planning on taking much:

Granola Bars
Kelloggs fruit snacks
goldfish
beef jerky
peanut butter crackers

These are all unopened boxes (if that makes any difference) and I just wanted some feedback if anyone has ever had any issues with doing this. TIA!

If the fruit snacks are gummy snacks then everything on your list is fine. If they're some kind of fruit cup then they probably won't get through security because of the liquid in the cups. The boxes can be open or closed; doesn't matter. All they care about is if it holds its shape outside of its packaging or not. All of these do.

I've packed most of the items you listed in my carry on in the past and have never had any issues. Good luck!:thumbsup2

Thanks! I just have not flown very much in the last ten years and with all of the changes I didn't want to get to security and have to throw something out.

The only thing on that list that MIGHT be an issue for TSA is peanut butter crackers, if you mean the little packs that have a tiny tub of peanut butter included. With most condiments, the usual rule is that they are allowed if the spread is already on the bread item, but not if they are separately packaged. Peanut butter can be a bit tricky because it is very dense and more of a solid than a gel, but I've seen people forced to toss jars of it.

Those are fine, as are the separate small tubs you can buy, provided they meet the weight requirement. A big jar of peanut butter does not.

OP - you can check the tsa.gov website for what is allowed and what is prohibited.
