Question re: club level FP+ & reg Fp+ (Asked on FP thread but no response)

So today is my CL FP+ day, I made my 3 CL fastpasses, and the other 3 regular fastpasses. I tried to "modify" one of my regular fastpasses to repeat one of the rides I selected on the CL Fastpass and it lets me go all the way through until the last step and then gives me an error. Have they stopped allowing this to happen?

Yes, you cannot repeat the same ride on the same day.

Yours is the first report I’ve seen of anyone trying to duplicate and getting a warning, although there really hasn’t been much chatter on the topic at all of late. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve updated the programming to prevent it, since that’s the way the program is supposed to work.

Can you modify one of the regular fastpasses that you have to a different time, or to a different (non-overlapping) ride? That would narrow it down to the duplicated ride being the issue.

Hm I just tried that and I can’t modify it at all - even to a random non overlapping ride. Wondering now if I have to wait until my 60 day FP window or if it’s just a tech issue.

When the CL FP program first started I was able to duplicate an RnR ride on my regular FP a month later but wouldn't be surprised if as @GADisneyDad14 stated that they changed the software.

Still I would try calling the Concierge line to see if they can push it through.
You will be able to FP that ride again when you've used up your regular FPs.

Interesting. I was able to modify outside the 60 day window when I was CL last fall, but that may have changed.

Does everyone on the existing FP have a valid ticket and are including on your CL reservation? That may be why you can't save the changes. Maybe try to move just yourself?

I'd also try logging out and back into MDE, or try using a web browser.

Thanks - yes we’re AP holders (although not activated yet) - I’ll try the logging out and back in. If not I’m not overly worried about it.

Same issue here for our late Oct trip. Can’t modify any Of the standard fast passes until 60days out. MDE lets u get all the way to the end than errors out.

Between now and 60days u just have to call DSS for any changes. .

This is correct. At 60 days you can move the ordinary FPs that SS booked for you but still no duplication of rides etc.
