Hello, everyone! I'm new, but have been lurking for several days now, enjoying reading your fun posts and learning from all of you who are in the know! I am so happy that I found this wonderful board!

I would greatly appreciate any help regarding the following -- thanks in advance!

I have never seen the Candlelight Processional, and I am trying to get a handle on understanding the Dinner Package before it becomes available. As I understand it, there are three tiers of pricing for the dinner packages. Here are my questions:

1) Do the different tier levels have anything to do with order of seating? For example, does tier 1 mean, "gets seated first," then tier 2 and so on? Or does "tier" only refer to pricing and nothing else?

2)I tried to post a link to reference an earlier thread about the CDP, but am unable to since I am not yet at 10 posts. It refers to a list of restaurants that are listed by tier and listed within each tier are, "Seating 1" and "Seating 2 & 3." I am having difficulty in figuring out what the seating within the tiers means. Although I can't post the link to the thread, here is my question:

In this helpful thread, the fourth post down by "justcantwait" refers to Seating 1, 2, and 3 within each tier. Does that refer to who is seated first, second and third? If not, what does that mean? I see that "Seating 2 & 3" is a higher price, but I would think that would mean, "second and third seating," with Seating 1 meaning "first seating." I know that can't be right, as the Seating 1 pricing is lowest, so that would not make sense. Please help me decipher this, as you can see I'm totally confused!

BTW - we will have the Dining Plan if that makes a difference in any of this. As I understand it, last year, the CDP equalled two TS meals.

Thanks a million everyone! I truly appreciate the help! So happy to be a part of your wonderful community! :)

Oh, thank you TruBlu! I couldn't for the life of me figure out what Seating 1, 2 & 3 meant! I feel so silly!

So does everyone who purchases a CDP get seated at the same time then, just seated by their order in the CDP line?

Thanks again!

I've never actually been, but I've been reading a lot and asking TONS of questions. We still haven't decided if we are going to do it this year of not.

I've been told that there are 2 lines. One line for people with the package and one for people without the package. You are seated in the order you arrive in the line reguardless of which restaurant you had your meal. After all the people with the package are seated, any empty seats are filled from the other line.

Hope I helped! :goodvibes

Thank you so much for being so helpful! I was very confused before posting here this evening. Thanks again - I really appreciate your advice!

Have a wonderful vacation! :)
