Question re booking on disney.com

Hi everyone,
this might be a dumb question, but when you book direct with Disney, do you have to pay the whole thing upfront? ie... I am looking for 2 nights hotel, 1 day at the parks, free ground transport from the airport...

Just wondering if I only have to put down a deposit right now and pay the rest as we get closer?

If you are booking a MYW package - then yes, you will need a $200 deposit and the balance due 45 days prior to departure.

If you are booking a room only and purchasing your tickets separately then you still need to make a deposit - it's the equivalent to one night's stay and the balance is due at check in. Your tickets - where ever you buy them from would have to be purchased in full.

Your Magical Express transport can be done when making either reservation.
