Hi all,
We're currently in the planning phase for this year's trip. We've got another 40% off room PIN like the one we used last year. This year, however, our son will be three and we will have to purchase passes and the dining plan for him. I have a quote right now from Disney that is roughly $600 more than what we paid last year. I asked the agent why the price had gone up so much as this is roughly $300 more than I was expecting with the addition of our son's pass and dining plan. She said one reason was that the room type we wanted (we're staying at the Wilderness Lodge at the end of September and requested a standard room) was unavailable and the quote was for the woods view room.
All that being said...I was wondering if going through AAA might give us access to the room type we want and/or a better overall discount than the 40%. Does anyone with AAA experience have any suggestions? We currently are not members, but are willing to join if it will save us money. Thanks for your help and good luck to everyone planning their trips.
