Question: Prices for Deluxe Resorts?

Are all the deluxe resorts ever priced the same? For some reason I thought I saw a brochure last year where they were. I’m asking because we stayed at the poly last year and wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian this year… if the price was the same. Is it ever the same price or is the GF always more?

The Poly & Gf are priced differently. Also depends on view/room & season you go in. Here are the prices for 2008 for GF. You can also see Poly if you click on the facts (to thr left of screen) for the Poly.

It is not uncommon for conventioneers to be bumped from the Contemporary Resort when if overbooks to the other hotels on the monorail line, although I think being bumped to the Polynesian is more common than the GF. This happened to me once and we stayed in the Polynesian for the same convention rate as the Contemporary ($180!). Of course, there isn't anyway to guarantee this happens, and you do have to be going to a convention. Oh well...
