Question: Point Transfer between members....

Good Morning!

Here we go...

I am a new DVC member (closed two weeks ago) and to be able to book my summer vacation I need to have a small amount of points transferred to my account.

A friend has graciously offered to do that for me, but he has never transferred points in his many years as a DVC member.

When he calls MS to transfer the points, what information will he need from me to complete the transfer?

Your name and member ID number.

One more thing that probably won't be an issue. A member is only able to transfer in one direction in a use year. Since you are new (and probably haven't transferred points) and your friend has never transferred it won't come up. I just wanted to point out that it could come up in the future. You can either transfer in or out in a use year but not both.
