We're coming down for our first "Welcome Home" in November.

Where do all the DVC'ers get their park tickets?

Heard to get them thru Disney before arriving, is that the best.

We're buying 7 or 8 day park hoppers/water parks/no experation tickets.

Thanks for the help.

Pete

Cheaper to buy thru Disney in advance or at any Disney Store in the malls. If you plan on visiting Disney 2 times in one year buy the Prem. Annual pass - DVC members get a discount of $125 off the $539 reg. price. If you only plan on using the other options...ex..DisneyQ., waterparks...once or twice during your 7-8 days it would be cheaper to buy the pass seperate and the individual options seperate. Since at DisneyQ DVC members also get $4.00 off each adult. Lots of website areas that can help with tickets info. Best wishes.

Thanks for the info.

When we were there last year, if we bought them at the resort, then our names were put on the tickets, do they do this on ticket purchases before arrival?

Buying from Disney store...you get a card that needs to be activitate with no names. Buying from Disney DVC/Disney website...you get a certificate which you trade in for your personal card when you get there. Disney uses the 2 finger measurement system to make sure the owners of the card are the only one using them.

I've also used the ticket sellers from the mousesavers newsletter that are sent out on the 15th of every month.
