About to purchase from Travelex for our October cruise. Also planning on some time at WDW after the cruise.

Do I include the time of WDW in my duration when purchasing the policy? And would this make the US my "final destination"...or should I mark that as "Caribbean" since it's really the cruise portion of the trip that I'm most interested in covering with this policy?

Thanks.

You can include in the insurance whatever you want. If you only want to cover the cruise portion just put those dates. If you want to cover the whole trip, put your departure date (from home) and your return date (to home).

Usually they will accept your first destination as your "destination" on policies (my experience).

Thanks! I'll go ahead and do it and call them in the next day or two to discuss and make sure I'm all set. Thanks for the reply.

I was going to suggest calling them to make sure everything is covered and written correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I called and offices were closed. There is a 10-day review period where I can cancel if I'm not happy when I review. So I'll talk with them tomorrow or next week and make sure I'm all set.

That is best. Call them and talk it over. How much does each part of your trip cost to cover? Medical coverage on the cruise is actually the thing you need the most, as this could be MUCH more costly than the cost of the cruise itself. While you have them on the phone, ask about all of your options. What reasons can you cancel for? How much extra would it cost to include other reasons? What is the medical coverage like? Are their any deductibles or exclusions?

When we did it, we called them back later and added on our excursions as they were pretty costly trips and covering them didn't cost much extra. Plus, our group had a significant risk of a last minute cancellation, that would have been too late to cancel the excursions through Disney. Your situation may be different, but it is something to consider.
