I would like to buy a few ahead of time before our trip. Where is the most reasonable place to get these at a great price. E-bay maybe? Also what is the usual charge for one at Disney?

I have not tried Ebay or any of the other sites (mousepinsonline, dizpins) I have bought some from the Disney Store online during their semi annual sale, and used to buy them at the Disney Store when they carried them. Pins at Disney will average $8-$12 with some much more.

thanks for the link! yes the prices do seem very reasonable and they take paypal which is a bonus for me!

Please check out the info on the Collectors forum here on the DIS for lots of tips on buying pins.

The Disney Store sells pins starting at $5.50 each and you may use coupons on them. They have 5 pin sets for $14.50 which are VERY reasonable if you get the pins during a sale. Over President's Day they had the pins 25% off, plus I had a 15% off coupon.

Disney Shopping has pins, and they have a different sale every day it seems like!

Pins in the parks start at $6.95 each, but they also sell "starter" sets that have multiple pins.

I just wanted to add that if you are going to wear your pins on a lanyard/vest, consider investing in pin locks. You can purchase at WDW (I want to say a set of 6/8 for $12??). They are little tubes that screw on the back of the pin w/a tiny allen wrench, but are well worth the $$ as the mickey-head pin backs seem to come off very easily! This will ensure no lost pins and help manage any pin trades. Have fun!
