We have some WDW hopper passes that we bought last year and are thinking of exchanging some days on the passes for DL passes. I know that we will ultimately be losing some money. But I'm not sure when we will ever use the passes since we will be buying APs for our next WDW trip. I was kind of wondering how it works. We have 2 7-day passes with 3 days left on each. We would like to exchange them for a 3-Day hopper for DL. But I have a couple of questions:

1) Can we just exchange them and get brand new passes? Or do we have to have them deduct the days each morning off the old WDW ticket?
2) There are also a couple of minor park visits on the WDW tickets. Will those stay intact on the old pass for someone to use at a later date even though the actual park hoppers are gone?

I hope that makes sense. If not, I will try to clarify. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I know for sure that they will give you new Hopper pass when you exchange, you do not have to do this daily. You just tell them you want to exchange them for 3 day hoppers and that they will.

I assume that the water park admissions will remain in tact. Just be sure to ask for the passes back.
