Question on the Military Salute park tickets

My father is a retired military veteran and he just ordered tickets for our upcoming disney trip.

I listed all of our names with his being first on the application to shades of green and they are sending the tickets.

My question is will the tickets already be linked to the correct my disney experience and magic band or will I have to link them? If I have to link them, will the names for each ticket be listed? I am not sure how to make sure the ticket that must be registered under my father's name is on his magic band and disney experience section.

We purchase the Salute tickets. What we receive is a voucher. I go onto MDE and enter (link) the voucher number for each person. I write the person's name on the corresponding voucher. Then when we get to Guest Relations to activate the tickets, I had them the Magic bands, ID's and the vouchers with each persons name written on it. It just speeds things up. Guest Relations can match the voucher with each person even if you don't write the names on them but I like to speed the process up a bit by having them organized. I have never ordered them from SoG. I always get ours from the base. I imagine its the same process though. And I am fairly certain they will not be linked to your band. SoG does not have access to your MDE account.

My MIL gets them on base. And we register the voucher on MDE, like the previous poster said. However, on our trip last year, our tickets were already linked to our MagicBands. I took them to Guest Relations to check, but they were fine.

They won't be linked to anything as I don't think SoG has access to that. I don't know why they need all the names. I do know the tickets from SoG will come to you already activated, so you won't have to go to guest services upon arrival; you can go straight into the parks.

You will have to link them in your MDE, and I don't think it will matter who has which ticket, but as you link them, I would make a note of who has which one just to be sure.

Tickets from Shades of Green are actual tickets I think. Is that correct?

As for the question about names, the application my father filled out asked for each person's name that needed a ticket.

I ordered my tickets from SoG and linked them to MDE myself on when they arrived. It was very easy.

SOG will send actual tickets, when they arrive you will need to assign one to each person in MDE, its easy to do and if you are staying on property with magic bands, you won't even need to pull out the actual tickets. I would have them there just in case, last time we went my DS and DDL had forgotten to bring the actual tickets but luckily they never needed them.
