I have chosen (again) the Dxdp for our November trip. It will be myself and my DS9. This will be the last year he will be considered a kid. He is not a huge eater, and he prefers a lot of the stuff on the adult menu.

For example, we have a lunch ressie at Via Napoli at Epcot during our trip. Can I use one TS credit for me, order a pizza and share it? I would probably pay for his drink oop. And we would probably share dessert as I am not a huge dessert person. Is this kosher? Would they let us do it? It's not to save credits as much as it seems a waste of food for me to order us two different meals and have him only eat a few bites.

The reason we choose Dxdp is because we like to eat at the signature restaurants and places that require 2 ts credits.

What does everyone think about sharing food? :confused3

It is fine to share meals everywhere but at buffets and if you get all you can eat plates, like at WCC...the bbq skillet.
At those you have to pay per person or use his credits.

Other than that you are good to share.

Some places will allow you to share, but Via Napoli is not one of them. Even paying cash they actively discourage people from sharing anything smaller than a large pizza.

If you're on the dining plan they will require you to use two credits--one adult & one child (an adult could get the individual pizza, which is large, by the way, but your son would be expected to order the child's meals. Via Napoli has good kids meal choices, including a kid's pizza.)

You're certainly fine to share your adult meal with your son. You just won't be able to use his credits for adult meals.

Maybe you can use his credits for breakfasts for the three of you? Kids breakfasts are pretty filling.
