Question on Saratoga Springs.

Hi. We have booked a preferred room at SSR for October. We are hoping to stay in the Congress Park area for close access to Disney Springs. I understand that this area is under refurbishment. Does anyone know which blocks are closest to Disney Springs, and if so are these the blocks under refurbishment. I know that requests are not a guarantee, and not bothered about getting a refurbished room. Just want the location.

Hi. We've stayed at SSR several times now and have been located at The Paddock, Congress Park and Grandstand. While we like the proximity of Congress Park to DS for a leisurely stroll last October we stayed in Grandstand for the first time and will probably ask for there again for our trip in January. Lovely quiet pool with a refill station (long walk to Hospitality House from Congress Park); short walk to Hospitality House and The Springs pool; first stop of the loop for the bus so we always got on (and got a seat); short walk to the boat dock with regular quick crossings to DS.

Grandstand is Standard.

All of CP is close to the walkway. I would not worry about a building request.

Walked through the refurbishment zone last week, the side walk was not blocked off coming from Disney Springs, whoopsy, lots going on there, not sure when it will end.
