I'm still a little confused on this. I have booked a package for poly for August 2016 and of course price is high. Is there any price difference if I did a RO and purchased tickets elsewhere. It,seems the price is a bit high and can't put my finger on it or if it's the convenience of having room and tickets making the price high. Is there a difference if I call for, pricing as opposed to booking online. I think ultimately I may wind up booking with agency when specials, come out.

Booking a package through Disney (doesn't matter if you call or book online) should be the same price as booking RO and getting tickets separately through Disney, but sometimes you can buy tickets from Undercover Tourist (or other reputable sites) and save a little bit. We have never done that as I've never found the big savings for tickets that others report getting, but it never hurts to check it out.

Thanks mickeynut. I had checked out the, price on the other site and wasn't much of a price difference with tickets so I will just keep it as is and hope for a discount later on. I think a lot of people are shocked at the price of their trips but again this is without a discount. I wish they would just offer a discount for booking early so we wouldn't have to wait until next year.

You're welcome :).

I don't know where others are finding big savings through UC, but anytime I have priced tickets through them, the difference was very minimal. I agree about the sticker shock, but hopefully discounts will still be available for awhile (and I agree, it would be nice if Disney gave a little discount for booking early ;)).

Oftentimes, UC will have promos for a free day on a 4 day ticket. Looking right now, using mousesavers for 5 day tickets at UC is $1,562.75 for my family of 5 (3A, 2C). Disney's price is $1,634.80. While not a huge savings, it's still worth it to me to buy from UC. Adding the ph option offers even greater savings for my family - $112.85 difference.
