Question on renting points

Sorry but I have another question on renting my points. About an hr ago I got the email that they had a guest for my points and haven’t heard anything yet. I have had 3 requests so far and was able to rent to one of them. On sun I got a request and a little while I got another email saying they had given it another member. So far an hr later today an I haven’t heard anything is this normal Do I just assume by this time someone got in a head of me. Sorry again for the questions but I’ve only had my points listed for 2 weeks. Also how long do you get to get the booking secure. Thanks all

The rental companies send email blasts to multiple owners who have points that can be used for that specific reservation. The first owner to respond is given the renter's info and gets to secure the reservation.

Renting your points out can take time, especially if you own at a less popular resort. But when it gets past the 7-month mark, where any points can be used at (almost) any resort with availability, you tend to see an uptick in offers.

thanks for the reply--it took almost an hr and a half but I did get the details for the resvervation

it sure was a lot easier to do it this time then the first time--
I sure learned a lot doing this but Im glad the points werent going to be wasted-
