Hi everyone,

We are going on a Disney World Vacation in May!! We were looking into the Quick Service Dining menu, because we will be bringing lots of snacks and can't see wanting a sit down meal each day. I tried to find some menus on the website, but had no luck. My question is, are the options for quick service dining usually healthy, or are they more-so the burgers and fries type of meal?

Thanks so much for all your help!! :goodvibes

go to http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm#mk

you can find TS and QS menus

Some are, some aren't. You've been directed to a site that shows sample menus (which may or may not be exactly the same as you'll find on your trip, but they will give you an idea about which restaurant serves what)

Many places offer a vegetarian burger; so, I would say that's a healthy choice. If you can go more exotic the Tangerine Cafe in Epcot has healthier meals. Sunshine Seasons in the Land in Epcot would be all right, too.

Some resort food courts have better options, too.

Overall, it a lot of hamburger and fries or pizza offerings in my opinion.

We went for six days and ONLY ate QS and I had 1 burger the whole time, but that was because I wanted a burger.

You can find great variety at all the parks.

Examples:
BBQ Chicken
Grilled Chicken
Pork Chops
Ribs
Tuna Sands
Variety of salads
Wraps
Fruit Plate
Pasta

And none of those even include all the wonderful offerings in World Showcase at Epcot!

Thanks for all the replies everyone! Those menu samples were great. And I'm happy to hear there are other options such as sandwiches and salads!

We have at least one QS meal per day on our trips and never feel "forced" to eat burgers and nuggets.

I just noticed where you are staying. If you haven't checked out the menu there, you should....baked chicken, grilled salmon, create your own salads....all sound pretty healthy to me!!

My goal on every trip is to try and never eat the same thing twice - with the exception of Dole Whips.

AirDisney2012, check out the other threads where there are discussions of favorite foods/snacks/treats. I have never felt forced to order a burger or chicken nuggets. (Never even had the chicken nuggets at WDW) A burger every once in a while. A hot dog at Caseys' one on every trip. I can't help much on "healthy". When I'm on vacation, that goes out the window!

I find food exploration on vacation a large part of the experience. In tribute to a certain pod-caster (Mr. Mongelo), I must say, don't miss the different tastes and offerings. They contain their own magic.
