Question on parks filling up

We are going to WDW the week between Christmas and New Years. I understand that it is the busiest time of year...

When the parks fill up and they "close" the park, do they reopen later on? I was planning to get to the parks early, leave around 2-3pm, then go back to the same or different one for the evenings. Is this a bad strategy when the parks close because of crowds? Do you think we'll be able to return in the evenings?

If you go early and get a parking pass or are staying on WDW property they will let you in.

Yes, if the park begins to empty out they will allow people to enter.
