Hello,
I am new here and we are going to WDW on 8.15.03 and staying off site. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: I am wondering if we can tour the on site resorts with the monorail or should we drive to them? Can we ride the busses?I haven't been to WDW since '86 when I was 10 years old and I have no idea how it works. Sorry if I sound really naieve but, basically it is our first time.
DH and 3 DS's, one who will turn 6 on the first day we start park hopping! I'm so excited. We are driving from Minnesota and will arrive in FL on Sunday afternoon so, I thought it would be a good idea to pick up our hopper passes and do a little touring of the resorts for where we would like to stay when we come back!(I know we will want to!) I have read in here it isn't such a good day to go to the MK on Monday but, I figured that would be the best place to start the magic with the kiddos! TIA!

As long as you don't abuse our system, you are free to use it to explore the resorts.

(Abuse would be parking at Downtown Disney or a Resort to go to a theme park, thus avoiding the parking fee)

Thank-you, I was just planning on letting the truck rest at our hotel while we got a look around. 27 hours of driving in two days is a lot for any truck. LOL ;)

This makes me cringe every time I read it. I don't know why I still feel guilty about parking at DD for everything -- I have a premium resident's pass, so I don't pay for parking anywhere anyway, and the little guy in the Booth said it was okay, lol.

Granted, the parking fees are the main reason, but the other reason is that DTD parking is reserved for those shopping there... parking there, and then going someplace else takes away a space for someone trying to go to DTD. And Im sure you know how hard it is to get a space there sometimes.
