Question on line dynamics

Here is a question for all you VMK-techies and brainiacs:

So, if:
1) there are 15 instances of the Emporium on the menu,
2) each is full at 15 characters, and
3) there is a wait of 40 to get into the Emporium.

Does that mean that there is a line of 40 for EACH instance or does the game have one giant queue that then distributes out to an instance when a vacancy occurs?

Please offer only informed insight or educated guesses; that is, no random or idle conjecture.

not a techie but...This morning I clicked one instance and got wait of 37. clicked another immediately after and wait was 20 something. So no, i dont believe there is one giant que. I could be wrong though LOL

Certainly, a suggestive piece of evidence.

If this is the case, and by no means do I want to close out other options, does this mean that if you click on Emporium, while NOT in advanced mode, that the game automatically places you in the shortest queue available? This would make sense, but, again, we need evidence from those of you in the know.

I'm not sure, but when I was in advanced mode I seemed to be hitting long queues. I'm not in advanced mode now and I'm in a queue of 10.
