Question on how Xpress Pass works

We will be going to Universal Studios the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We are not staying on site. We are considering purchasing the Xpress pass. We are a family of five. Two kids are 9 and 8 and our youngest will be 17 months. One of us will have to stay with the baby when the other takes the other 2 on all the big kid rides! :cool1:They are both very tall for their age so they should be able to ride everything. My question is since on most of the popular rides there will only be 3 riding, can we buy 3 Express tickets and my husband and I share the one Express ticket depending on who takes the older kids on rides? I wasn't sure if the Express pass is added on to a specific ticket that only a specific person can use or if you can trade it back in forth as long as only 3 people are trying to use the 3 passes at any one time? Hope this makes sense. :confused3

Since the Express Passes you purchase do not have a name on them nor attached to a single ticket, you can trade back and forth. Just remember...EP's only good for a single time for each attraction. Once the EP has been used for a particular attraction, you can not ride it again through the Express line.

Thank for the information. I did not know there was a limit to how many times you can ride each ride. It makes sense in order to keep the Xpress lines from getting too crowded.

try using the baby swap.
then both parents can do the same ride.

Question about the purchased Express passes (I have no clue how they work since we get our Express with Premier passes)...can you use all the "rides" at just one ride? For example, at Busch Gardens, each ride is on a card and they punch 'em off as you ride. However, you can use all your punches on one ride if you like. I use most of mine for SheiKra and Montu. I know Uni uses a scanner, so does this preclude doing the same thing there? Could you use all your rides on the Mummy, for example, or do you have to ride each one?

The Express Passes you purchase are only good for one ride per attraction. You're OK with your unlimited Express after 4pm but others who pay for the EP can only do it once.

It allows you 1 entry into the express line on every ride. Obviously excluding PFlyers, and right now, Rockit. If you buy it, and wait the regular line for everything, but then you get to Suess Trolley and want to use it, you can, but that's it for Trolley. If you try and use it again, it'll deny you. However you can still use it on every other ride there once.
