Question on how waitlisting works

We are in the computer :cool1: and hopefully our points will show up in the next day or two. I am driving to Orlando the beginning of August and would love to make one of my stops going down be Hilton Head for 2-3 days in a studio. I know there is currently no availability, but I would like to see if we could waitlist for it. Will I be able to waitlist for it or is it too late to put a waitlist request in? Also, how exactly does the whole waitlisting work? I don't have any books yet to read up on it.

I know it is a longshot and I do have alternate plans in place in case it doesn't come through, but I figured it would be a nice stopping point on the way down.

Also, how many studios are there at this resort compared to other unit sizes?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Yes, you can still get on the waitlist. Just call MS and make your request.

HH has only 21 Studios and 21 1BR villas, so there is little availability to start with, but changes occur all the time and you may still find something. There are 77 2BR villas and 5 GVs for a total of 103 villas (124 maximum with the lock-off units).

I'd call and see what might be available for your trip and waitlist if nothing is currently available. You'll also need to call back to be added to the waitlist once inside 30 days (the list is emptied at that time). There is no waitlist once at 7 days- but you can still call daily then.

Good luck!

Thanks Doc!

WHen I called they didn't tell me that I had to call back at the 30 day mark. That is an important piece of information.
