I was looking at the official Disney Cruise site and I noticed that for the rooms with the navigator's veranda, it says sleeps 3, some 4.

Are there many navigator staterooms that can accommodate 4? Or will there be a crunch to get these?

Thank you and have a great day.

Hi momoftwins, i am a mom of twins also. We have booked the June 26 cruise on the Magic and have a navigator room with veranda that sleeps 4. I was told it has the bed that pulls down out of the ceiling and the sofa sleeper.

We can't wait. We booked in February and planned this as a gift to them as they graduate from High school in June.

There are some Category 7 cabins that actually have a full verandah. They used to be classified as Cat. 6 cabins but the verandah is partially obstructed so they were downgraded to Cat. 7. I believe it is these cabins that can sleep 4. Before they were downgraded Cat. 7's only slept 3.

Great news. My twins are only 7, so the sleeping arrangements should be comfortable for both of them.

Thanks and have a great night!

Don't worry - DCL will not put four people in a cabin that only sleeps three.

I recently talked to a DCL represenative about this exact question.

I was told that ALL Navigator's Verandahs only sleep 3 (but as someone else already noted, there are some non-Navigator's Verandahs listed as Cat 7).

There must be a bed for every passenger (maritime law). This includes infants and you CAN'T count the portable crib they provide. (In other words, families of 4 can't be in rooms with Navigtor's Verandahs).
