Question on Hotels for Parents and Young Adults

We're looking to go back to Disneyland Paris possibly next year and having looked over the Brochures it seems the Disney hotels are designed only with Parents with kids in mind.

Though I was wondering. Is there any chance at all of getting a double bed and 2 singles in a Disney hotel at all? I know Hotel Cheyenne and Davy Crockett have bunks and the non-Disney Explorers hotel has one double. But we really want to stay at one of the mid-ranges if possible

We had a double and bunk beds at the Newport Bay Club, Admirals Floor - you could ring and ask if it's a possibility. I could find you the specific room number if you like.

Hmmm...not that I know of.

Personally I'd book a 2 bed cabin at the Davy Crockett Ranch. This would give you one bedroom for the adults with a double bed, one bedroom with bunk beds for one teenager and a pull out sofa bed in the living area for the other one.

You'd need to be aware of the weight limit on the top bunk of the bunk beds for all other Disney Hotels.

The weight restriction is around 11 or 12 stone, we checked it at the NPB when youngest DS suddenly decided he didn't like the top bunk half way through our stay, my eldest was 10 then but way under the restriction, again it's something that the hotel is best to advise you on.

If you don't mind staying offsite then the Explorers has a double and 2 singles with the option to add a bunk room on if you need more privacy, not sure what the set up is at the Dream Castle or the Holiday Inn.

Having older children myself means we're limited in choice 14 and 9 year old brothers do not like sharing a bed hence we're at the Cheyenne next time.

We did too, hence I actually went to reception to double check. Have just had a look on the official site and it's 70kg / 11 stone.

off site, the dream castle is a lovely hotel and has rooms with a huge double bed and bunks with a curtain in front for privacy

We have the same problem. We are a family of 3 adults and a 10 year old, DS1 doesn't really want to share a bed with DS2 so we get round it by taking a blow up bed for DS2(obviously you can't do that for an adult), mind you I forgot to take it with us this time when we stayed in the DLH, so was relieved when we had a large sofa in our room which DS2 slept on. The DLH has family rooms, not sure on the bed situation is in them though but I'm sure someone one the boards will know.

Can recommend Davy Crockett if you have the car.

Having sepaerate bedrooms makes staying there much easier & the pool is one of the best if not the best onsite. My teenagers love it.
