Question on hairstyling for black princesses at BBB

I know this may sound like a strange post to some people .....but couldn't find an answer and am simply just trying to plan for our upcoming August trip (end of August). I've read aboout BBB where girls can be made over into Hannah Montana or a princess. I know with Hannah Montana - they would get a wig and with the princess the fairy godmothers do a simple hairstyle on the girls. Now my "strange question": I am black and have 6 year old twin girls .. I was thinking of doing the BBB for them but the princess ones. Do you know if the fairy godmothers are trained to work on all types of hair (i.e. little black girls hair)? I dont antto make reservations for BBB and then we get there and the fairy godmother is not able to style their hair ...they would be so disappointed. Has anyone experience this (or something similar) or know if the fairy godmothers work on all hair types. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've never done the BBB thing...but when I was at DTD I saw many of the little fairies and princesses. Mostly their hair was pulled into a tight bun and decorated with glitter gel and foo foo hair ties...yes foo foo

They really didn't seem to get TOO involved with the styling, so I wouldn't imagine their experience would be any different. Maybe you can call ahead and find out?

They sure do! When we went last July my DD and DN went and the fairy godmothers did a wonderful job on their hair! They even had some Black hair care products (have you ever heard of Jam?). I would recommend bringing your own hairbrush, just in case. I did and it was really helpful. My profile pic shows my DD hair and I thought it really looked gorgeous!

I second that they do know how to work with black hair we actually saw a lot of pretty black princesses and even our fairy god mother was black. She was great....and you could tell she really knew what she was doing as she braided my youngest dd's hair tighter than I've ever seen a braid done LOL
