Question on Disneyland E-tix

I'm thinking of buying my Disneyland park hopper tix online at Disneyland.com - which sends and e-tix I print and use at the gates. My question is -- how can I use this e-tix for fastpass?

What happens is, you print out the tickets at home, then take the sheets of paper to the turnstiles at the entrance of Disneyland (NOT the ticket booths, but the turnstiles). They will scan your e-ticket and give you a real ticket in exchange and you use that for fast passes. It takes just a few seconds. It is very easy. And you usually will get a coupon for discount merchandise when you print out the tickets at home too.

When you present your e-ticket at the gate, they will scan it and then will give you a regular ticket that can be used in the fastpass machine.

We bought ours through Disneyland.com, just make sure you don't buy them last minute...we bought ours at 10 pm and they were still not sent to my email when we left at 7 am the next morning. I just went to will call (or whatever they call it now days!) and they gave me tickets!

Thank goodness you were able to get your tickets, how very odd, that it can take awhile to receive them via email. Maybe it was because it was last minute, but still, it should not take that long for an email ticket to be sent. hmmm?

If you print them with an ink printer, make sure the bar code doesn't smear. Mine did, but thankfully there are two bar codes on each ticket. They cannot scan them if the bar code is in any way deformed.
