question on day by day reservation

Hi!

I am about to begin calling day by day to switch my reservation from my home resort (SSR) to OKW. So what happens if I am able to get 1/2 the week switched to OKW & 1/2 I waitlist, but t doesn't come thru? Do I have to move locations 1/2 way through our trip?

Unfortunatly yes, although I've read here on the boards where some have paid cash for the balance of the stay to prevent moving. I have yet to understand how that can happen if the villa is reserved for someone else on points.
