Question on convention tickets

I saw a post on the boards on where you can buy 2 day PH tickets which would be great for my parents attending WDW who only want to go to the parks for 2 days due to health issues. I went to the site that they posted on 2 day PH and it is a site where you buy these tickets through a convention. Can I still get these tickets or are they just for people who are attending this convention? I don't want to get these tickets for them and then when they go to use these tickets they get in trouble or worse they can't use them. Any info or help on this would be great. Aslo they will be there June 13th through June 20th. By the way the link they gave was this:

In theory convention tickets may only be purchased by people registered at and atttending a convention (or members of thier families). They are bought through the convention, not a regular ticket seller. Also, they have time limits on them.

The time limits is a vital issue. I had one that expired 10 days after I received it. (I am not sure this is standard, but I know they all have time limits.)

I went ahead and bought 2 of the two day park hopper tickets for our brief stay at CBR in October. It was too good of a deal to pass up. There is nothing on the page indicating you have to be attending their convention. The tickets expire December 30 2004. They are good for 10 days FROM THE DATE OF THE FIRST USE.

My only concern was that the page where you enter your order and credit card number does not appear to be a secure server like many reliable on line merchants. I just crossed my fingers, crossed my toes, and everything else I have two of and went for it.

The order deadline is April 12th. The ship date is April 15th. I'll post on this board if I have any trouble with receiving the tickets.

I emailed the people at that website and they told me they were only available to people attending conventions, not the general public.

We are attending a convention in Sept. When we made our resort reservations, they asked which convention we were planning to attend and verified the actual convention dates. They may compare your name on the ticket order with your convention registration info. If you actually receive the tickets you will probably be lucky. These DO look like good prices for tickets, don't they?

I saw this same post and was leary about purchasing at such a great rate. I did a BBB search on this business (HES Convention Services, INC.) bu nothing came up. However after doing a bit more searching on the internet found that even Disney sells the exact same convention tickets online at the same price. They all appear to expire 10 days after first use AND/OR December 31, 2004 (whichever occurs first). What I like is that the 3 day PH are cheaper than 3 - 1 day / 1 park tickets plus I can "hop" and ALSO include PI or DQ. I fully intend on purchasing these. Even Mary mentions convention tickets on her website (always check there first). Nowhere does it mention that you have to present ID at the gate and I can't imagine these tickets being specially printed for such convention and ID being required. IMHO if you can get your hands on them and you pay for them they are fair game!

Would love other comments.

We had convention tickets two years ago for a competitiont that the children were attending. They looked just like the regular PHPs but included that one PI/DQ option instead of PI/WP/WWoS. We were never asked for ID when we used them.

Many convention attendees have their families with them. The families use the convention tickets to go to the parks while the conventioneer is in meetings and seminars.

I will be in for a different convention but I wanted to compare prices ahead of time.

I have a question about these. I see that, for instance, the 4 day hopper has 4 admissions to DQ or PI. Can you use more than one in one day? Like, for instance, if my DH wanted to go to DQ in the morning, then over to Epcot in the afternoon, and PI in the evening?

I guess what I'm wondering, simply, is can you use 2 or more Plusses in one day?
